The journey begins with a transfer to Hoa Binh and a bike ride to Mai Chau, passing ethnic villages and tea and coffee plantations. Mai Chau, home to the Thai people and their stilt houses, is where we stay overnight. On Day 2, we cycle over 40km from Lac to Van village, through scenic countryside and ethnic hamlets. Van remains untouched by tourism. On the final day, we ride and trek through the misty morning landscapes before returning to Hanoi.
