Upon arrival in Da Nang, you'll be greeted by the tour staff and transported to your resort for check-in. Then spend the rest of the day with free time for relaxing on the beach.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transported to Montgomerie Links Vietnam, Colin Montgomerie’s only course design in Asia. With its beachscape and backdrop of the Marble Mountains, the site provides a beautiful palette for this links-style course, and the wispy Casuarina pines and sand dunes give you the feeling of being in Scotland without the cold temperatures you find in the British Isles. In addition to the excellent golf course, there is a large contemporary club house. After golfing, you will be transported back to your hotel.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be driven to Da Nang Golf Club. Reminiscent of both Scottish links golf and Carolina sand hills golf, this is arguably Vietnam's best course, created by Australia's Great White Shark Greg Norman. Built on the sandy loam soil of China Beach, the fairways are generous and there is restrained use of water. However, shots must be carefully placed to give players a chance to go for the pins on the well bunkered and undulating greens. The fairways are lined and well defined by long needle pines, so miss into the trees and you will be forced to punch off the sand and pine needles along a safe line just to get back into play. More so than other areas of Vietnam, the wind can be a major factor on the central coast. After golfing, you will be transported back to your hotel.
