We pick up all guests at Hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter area.
6:00 - 6:30: Our driver will pick you up at hotels in Old Quarter area and the meeting point then depart to Sapa (~6 hrs). After lunch we will visit local villages by trekking downhill to Cat Cat village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Visitors will be able to visit and learn about the customs and habits of ethnic minorities. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. Evening: After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa Town by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping.
After breakfast, the appointed guide will pick you up at 8:00 AM to trek to Y Link Ho Village (~ 1 hour). You will take a short break to experience the local theme.
After a short break, we will start hiking through the rice terraces along Muong Hoa Stream to Lao Chai, the village of Black H’mong minority. Here you will enjoy the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son mountain ranges.
Trekking from Lao Chai Village to Ta Van village. They are the biggest villages in Sapa. Have lunch at a local restaurant in Ta Van village and short break. The driver will transfer you back to hotel in Sapa. Dinner at local restaurant.
7:00 - Driver will pick you up at hotel to Bac Ha market (3 hrs). At the market you will also meet Flower Hmong (Red Hmong), Black Dao, Tay, Nung, La Chi, Phu La and other tribal groups who come from far and wide to buy and sell a wide variety of goods and livestock, to exchange news and to renew friendships. In the past the market was a centre for trading horses but now that motorbikes have replaced them it is more common to see buffalo, cows, goats, fish and other. Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch break, we will trek to Ban Pho village of the Flower H’Mong people, to see their house, the daily life, understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. Drive back to Sapa (3 hrs). 18:30 - Dinner at local restaurant. 21:30 - Sleeping bus will pick up and transfer you back to Hanoi (arrive at ~4:00 AM)
