Stop over on the way with spectacular views around every bend at Thung Khe pass which is an impressive mountain pass in Mai Chau. Close to the top of the mountain pass, you will find here a number of small restaurants and shops, with thatched roofs, a few tables, chairs and hot teapots ready for the guests who stop. These shops are close to the abyss and are also called the Thung Khe market. Buses from Hanoi often stop here for something to eat and enjoy the view. It can be very chill and when you are unlucky you are in the clouds so you don’t have a view. On the “market” you can buy food and things that come directly from the area. The Thung Khe Pass flagpole or also called the Mai Chau Flagpole or Mai Chau viewpoint is probably the highlight of the entire mountain pass. From here you have a great view over the Mai Chau valley, which you probably already saw on photos when you googled for Mai Chau.
12:00 Upon arrival at Lac village in Mai Chau, after short break the tour guide will take a short walk to visit the ethnic Thai people. 12:30 Lunch has been arranged at the village. After lunch, group will head to Puluong
14:00 Continue driving around 20 km more to Puluong Nature Reserve then start a 2 to 3 hour walk through beautiful hill side villages, magnificent rice paddies, seeing hand crafted bamboo water wheels. The highlight on this walk is experiencing the beauty of Pu luong Nature Reserve, the everyday life and culture of the white Thai people. Become a part of local life when we are welcomed as honored guests at a traditional Thai home on stilts. Here in Hang village we will have a traditional dinner and stay the night.
It will be interesting for you to get up and observe, or even take part in their activities in the morning because the daily life here starts early, take an opportunity to stroll around Hang village before having breakfast served by Thai people. Then at 8:00 am, start our trek today. We will be walking approximately 5 to 6 hrs .The first hiking is hard with some steep climbs and yet more stream crossing, the next is really glorious with beautiful views of valley, rice terraces, rich rain forest, streams.

9.906.000 ₫Picnic lunch on the way at Eo Ken village, arrival in Kho Muong - the setting of the village is perhaps the most beautiful in Vietnam. It is recommended to stroll round the village and join in as villagers go about their daily lives, or relax in one of the home-stay superbly set up by FFI (Flora and Fauna International) in conjunction with local villages. Please be soft and nice, nature is just very lovely here. Arrival in Kho Muong village in the afternoon. Here we will spend our second night in a typical Thai Eco - stilt house.
8:00 am Tour guide will pick you up and start for an easy day trek. We will continue on through beautiful valley, unspoiled villages with nice view, sure with much impression. Relax from the heat of the day before continuing on to a village nestled between steep karts mountains and nice terraces. Arrive in a small town in Pho Doan market after 3 hrs trekking.
Vehicle will pick you up at Pho Doan then transfer to Mai chau valley. Take time for joining with Mai Chau local colorful market. Then have lunch in a local house. After short break, group will follow the local guide for biking tour in Mai Chau, Start cycling ride with local tour guide, see farmers working in the fields, locals weaving scarves and then visit surrounding peaceful village considering as a living museum.
14:30 Say good bye to the host of home-stay family and get back Hanoi. You will arrive in Hanoi around 18:00. End of the trip.
