The village is surrounded by terraced rice fields and gentle hills, making it a peaceful and scenic stop along your trekking journey. While the Black Hmong are known for their traditional indigo-dyed clothing and farming lifestyle, the Giay people are famous for their handmade herbal incense, crafted from local plants and forest herbs. Walking through Ta Van, you may have the chance to see the Giay women preparing these aromatic bundles, using techniques passed down from their ancestors.
