8:00 Depart from Ho Chi Minh city for Mekong Delta in a 70km trip in air-con bus and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the road. The first stop will be Vinh Trang Pagoda – the biggest Pagoda in Mekong Delta which was built during the first half of the 19th century to emerge yourself in the religious and cultural space. The second stop will be My Tho. From here, you will be taking a boat trip through the river, passing through floating fish rafts, houses along many other great views.
After arriving at Thai Son island, there will be upcoming activities waiting for you: Visiting a honey farm, you will get to learn about the process of producing honey and how to collect royal jelly, you will also get to have a taste of wonderful honey tea on the spot. Tourist trams will then transport you to an opera where you can enjoy fresh tropical fruits and Don Ca Tai Tu, a traditional form of western Vietnamese singing art perform by the villagers. Walking deep into the village, passing through fruit gardens and, you will reach the rowing boats. After travelling on the rowing boats, big motorboats will be waiting for you, continuing your journey to the coconut candy factory, then restaurant for a local cuisine lunch. You will then ride the boat back to the van, continue a 2 – hour long journey to Can Tho the heart of Mekong Delta. 18:30 you will enjoy dinner on cruise. 6:00 Waking up early in the morning to have breakfast, after traveling for 30 minutes by boat, you will get to Cai Rang floating market, the largest floating market on the Mekong River. You will also feel the beauty, the rush and liveliness of the local people. Next, you will roam through the village to see rice noodles making shop and then get on the boat to eat pineapple. Next, the group visited the traditional market on the shore of local people in the city center. After that, our group will go to visit Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery.
12:00 You have lunch at My Khanh restaurant. After lunch the time for rest, you can walk in the tourist village to explore interesting games of local people. Then the group said goodbye to Can Tho city and returned to Saigon. 5:30 Finally, the tour ends once we take you back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city with unforgettable memories.
