7:30 am - We depart from your Ho Chi Minh City. During the 1.5 car ride, we will pass through green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda. It is the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region. You will be guided to explore the most beautiful temple in the region. Next, we take a leisurely boat ride along the river, and view stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, and have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals.
