Pick up at hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter
You will be collected from your hotel in Hanoi's Old quarter at 08:00 to begin the drive to Dinh Vu Harbour. You will then take a 10-minute high-speed boat to Cat Ba Island. After that, you will go to Cat Ba town for lunch. Shuttle bus (Bus - Boat - Bus)
In the afternoon, you will trek to Viet Hai village through Cat Ba National Park, a paradise for both birdwatching and sightseeing amidst the primeval forest and at Frog Lake. Along the way, you'll have a chance to see wild animals and thousands of butterflies, if you're lucky, you might come across one of the rare Cat Ba langurs. Upon arrival, check in at a homestay or eco-lodge, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night amidst the peaceful surroundings of Viet Hai. - A 8-10 km trek off the beaten path.
Breakfast will be served at 07:30, then hike to the top of Marine Hill, which offers panoramic views of both Halong bay and Lan Ha bay. Then a cycling trip from Viet Hai Village to the dock, where you’ll board a boat for a full-day exploration of Lan Ha Bay. This adventure includes scenic cruising, kayaking through lagoons and caves, swimming in hidden spots, and savoring a freshly prepared lunch on board.
