7:30pm - 8:00pm The bus picks you up from your hotel/hostel in Hanoi Old Quarter. 9:00pm The sleeper bus leaves Hanoi. Overnight on the bus. 4:00am Arrival in Ha Giang city. Check in at the hostel and rest for a few hours 8:30am After breakfast, meet up with the guide and begin the journey through the Ha Giang loop.
Bac Sum Pass offers breathtaking views before we reach Quan Ba Heaven Gate, a famous landmark 43 km from Ha Giang city at an altitude of over 1,500m. Known as the gateway to the Happiness Road, this spot between two mountain peaks provides a stunning panoramic view of the majestic Northwest mountains and forests.
Cán Tỷ Pass, about 60 km north of Hà Giang City on National Highway 4C, is one of the region’s most dramatic mountain roads. With sharp curves and steep slopes, it offers breathtaking views of the Miện River Valley winding through karst mountains. Both a thrilling challenge for adventurers and a window into Hà Giang’s wild beauty and highland culture, it’s a must-visit destination.
We will rest and have lunch in Yen Minh town and in the afternoon, we will continue our journey to conquer the passes in Ha Giang.
After lunch, continue the journey to the Hmong King’s Palace (Dinh Vua Mèo) in Sà Phìn, Đồng Văn. Built in the early 20th century by H’mong leader Vương Chính Đức, the palace blends Chinese, French, and H’mong architecture. It stands as a symbol of H’mong power and culture, offering visitors both architectural beauty and fascinating historical insights into the Hà Giang stone plateau.
After finishing the visit to the Meo King Palace, we will go to Dong Van town and check in to rest here. Have dinner and freely walk around the town
