We offer hotel pick-up for guests staying within the Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. For guests outside the Old Quarter, the pick-up point is at Hanoi Opera House at 8:00 AM. The journey to Halong Bay takes approximately 2.5 hours, including a short rest stop along the way. Enjoy a comfortable and timely transfer as you begin your luxury cruise adventure.
For guests arriving on their own in Halong: Please arrive at Dock 35, Tuan Chau Harbor by 11:30 AM for check-in. Late arrivals may be denied boarding or charged extra fees. Check-in is from 12:00 to 12:30 PM, followed by a speedboat transfer to Dora Cruise. Please provide all personal and passport details before departure. Enjoy a welcome drink, meet the crew, and savor a Vietnamese seafood lunch while cruising Halong Bay.
Continue cruising past Con Vit Islet (Duck Islet), Thumb Islet, and Gia Luan Harbor in the Cat Ba area, then explore the natural lagoons of Lan Ha Bay. The cruise anchors for swimming or sunbathing in this private, pristine environment. Head to Ba Trai Dao Islet for kayaking and swimming. At 5:30 PM, return to the cruise for a sunset party with fruit, cake, and wine, followed by a cooking class led by the chef where you can learn to make traditional Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls. Dinner is served at 7:00 PM, featuring special seafood and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Evening entertainment from 9:00 PM includes games, music, squid fishing, and optional massage services. Overnight onboard the Dora Cruise.
At 6:30 AM, early risers can enjoy a Tai Chi session on the sundeck, followed by breakfast between 7:00 and 7:45 AM while taking in the stunning bay views with a cup of tea or coffee. At 8:00 AM, cruise through the emerald waters toward Dark & Bright Cave (Hang Sang & Toi), where you can explore by kayak or a traditional bamboo boat rowed by locals. By 9:30 AM, return to the cruise, check out of your private cabin, and continue to relax while cruising the breathtaking Halong Bay.
At 10:00 AM, enjoy your final lunch meal onboard as the cruise sails through the stunning Ha Long Bay. By 11:30 AM, the Dora Cruise docks near Tuan Chau Harbor, where guests will be transferred back to Tuan Chau port, concluding the journey. For guests booking the tour from Halong Bay without transfer: The 2-day cruise concludes at Tuan Chau Marina, where the cruise returns to the harbor for disembarkation.
