At 8:30 AM, meet your guide and Easy Riders team at your hostel in Ha Giang City. After a short safety briefing and itinerary overview, your adventure begins. Just 10 minutes out of the city, the landscape opens up to stunning views of mountains, rivers, and local villages. ️ Bac Sum Pass Visit Bac Sum Pass, famous for its winding “snake road” with over 20 sharp curves. Stop at the viewpoint to admire the deep valleys and breathtaking scenery. ️ Quan Ba Heaven Gate Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate for a panoramic view of Quan Ba valley, dotted with peaceful villages and dramatic mountain landscapes.
️ Scenic Ride to Tam Son and Local Village Hop back on the motorbike and ride through Tam Son Town, stopping to admire the famous Twin Mountains and the unique “grey paradise” landscape of rocky peaks and corn fields clinging to the cliffs. Continue along peaceful backroads to Nam Dam Village, home to the Dao ethnic community. Here, you’ll discover local culture, traditional clay houses, and authentic village life. Then ride onward to Yen Minh for a relaxing lunch.
Trang Kim Valley and Lunch with a View After visiting the village, continue your ride to Trang Kim Valley, where breathtaking mountain scenery unfolds at every turn. Ride up Trang Kim Pass and stop at a panoramic viewpoint to take in the spectacular landscape of valleys and winding roads. Then continue to Yen Minh for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can relax and enjoy beautiful views of terraced rice fields.
️ Journey to Dong Van After lunch, hop back on the motorbike and continue your adventure towards Dong Van. Along the way, enjoy several scenic stops before reaching the famous Tham Ma Pass. Here, you’ll admire the iconic “9-turn road” — a must-see viewpoint where travelers love to capture stunning photos of the winding mountain pass. The journey continues through Lao Xa Village and nearby highland villages, offering breathtaking views of endless limestone mountains, rocky fields, and deep valleys where locals grow corn on steep slopes.

Arrival in Dong Van Town The journey continues to Dong Van, where you’ll ride through the breathtaking landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark known for its dramatic limestone mountains. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and enjoy some free time to explore the charming town at your own pace. In the evening, relax and experience local life with an overnight stay in a traditional homestay.
Ma Pi Leng Pass – The Most Spectacular Day After breakfast, at 8:30 AM, check out and begin your journey from Dong Van — the most breathtaking day of the loop awaits. Travel along the legendary Happiness Road, leading you to the iconic Ma Pi Leng Pass — often considered the most beautiful part of the Ha Giang Loop. From the open-air jeep, take in panoramic views of dramatic mountains, deep valleys, and the emerald Nho Que River winding far below. You can even stand up to fully enjoy the incredible scenery. Stop at scenic viewpoints to walk around, take photos, and truly soak in the awe-inspiring landscape.
Meo Vac and Scenic Ride to Du Gia After passing the legendary Meo Vac, enjoy a stunning ride through valleys and dramatic mountain landscapes. If it’s a market day, stop to explore a vibrant local market. Continue along the famous M Slope, one of the most scenic roads on the loop, surrounded by endless limestone mountains and deep valleys. Ride through the peaceful Mau Due Valley, then stop for a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to Du Gia Village, where you’ll stay overnight in a traditional homestay.
Du Gia Village and Waterfall Experience Hop back on the motorbike and ride towards the peaceful Dao villages. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of mountain slopes and beautiful terraced rice fields — a true highlight of the region. From the open-air ride, take in breathtaking panoramas and stop at scenic viewpoints to capture unforgettable photos. Continue through the lush Lung Ho Valley before arriving at Du Gia Village. Check in, relax, then head out again along backroads to visit the nearby Du Gia Waterfall, where you can swim and unwind in nature. Return to your homestay in the evening for dinner and free time.
Return to Ha Giang – Final Day After breakfast, say goodbye to your homestay host and continue the journey back. Though it’s the last day, the scenery still offers plenty of unforgettable moments. Ride back towards Ha Giang City, passing through beautiful valleys filled with stunning terraced rice fields. Along the way, cross Nam Cang Village and enjoy the peaceful landscapes, often described as soft and poetic like “fairy hills.” Continue through Quan Ba Heaven Gate before joining the main road back to the city. Arrive in Ha Giang in the afternoon, just in time to catch your bus or limousine back to Hanoi — whether you prefer an afternoon departure or an overnight journey.
