After the breakfast this morning, you will depart for Cu Chi Tunnels where you will be guided to make a step down to the tunnels and learn about how the Vietnamese managed to stay in the tunnels during several years of combat. After the visit, we will enjoy a lunch at Vietnamese traditional restaurant and back to Saigon.
After lunch, we will embark on a city tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Once arrived, you’ll visit the War museum .Notre Dame Cathedral, a spiritual and cultural crucible of the French presence in Vietnam and then the French colonial architecture style Central Post Office. Central Post office interior and next, take a photo outside the Opera House, as well as the Reunification Palace. Previously it was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. In addition, you will visit and embark on a walking trip to go shopping at Saigon Square, Ben Thanh Market & Takashimaya Shopping Mall, which is always full of a variety of goods from consumer goods, souvenirs, street food ... We’ll end your day with a dinner cruise on Sai Gon River.
After your breakfast, we shall depart from Saigon around 8:00 and head south to My Tho area .We will then board the motor boat on the Tien River to Thoi Son Islet and start your sight-seeing on the river. Along the way, you’ll observe over the floating houses of the locals where fishes are farmed beneath, stilt houses and fruit plantation along the river bank and visit a bee farm, where you can enjoy tasting the hot honey tea. You’ll enjoy local fresh fruits while enjoying the live performance of the traditional folk music artists. We will take a rowing-boat along the small canals passing orchards to traditional villages. You will visit coconut workshop to learn the process of making coconut candy. We will stop for lunch at the local restaurant with famous Mekong delta dishes such as deep-fried crispy Spade fish... After the tour, we will transport you back to Ho Chi Minh City, where we will arrange for you dinner. After the dinner, our car will transfer you to the airport and flight back your home.
