Itinerary

Ninh Binh - Lan Ha Bay - Homestay Cat Ba Island (Lunch, Dinner)

We will pick up all guest around Tam Coc - Bich Dong Area, Mua Cave Area, Trang An Area and Ninh Binh City then transfer to Cat Ba Island. It will takes about 4,5 hours drive from Ninh Binh to Cat Ba Island.

We will arrive at Ben Beo pier in Cat Ba island. The pier for fishermen and tourist boats to visit the Lan Ha Bay, just 2km from the town.

We will pick you up at Ben Beo harbor and transfer by fast canoe to our lovely homestay in Viet Hai village. The Village is on Cat Ba island, around 10 kilometers away from Cat Ba town. its position in the midst of Cat Ba’s jungle, meaning that it’s surrounded by lush forests, mountains and picturesque scenery.

Following our tour guide you will do trekking and hiking in Navy Peak to see the overview of Cat Ba national park. If we have time we can climb to the top of the mountain for a panoramic view of Lan Ha bay, Halong bay and Cat Ba national park.

Enjoy local dinner at our restaurant. After that, Our tour guide will take you on a night-time kayak on Lan Ha Bay to see Bioluminescent plankton sparkling and the local village activities at night. Overnight at our homestay!

Discover Lan Ha Bay full day by boat - Hanoi (B, L)

Enjoy the breakfast at our restaurant. Our golf car will pick you up from Viet Hai village to Viet Hai harbor. We will arrive at Viet Hai Pier and our tour guide will give you the entrance tickets for Lan Ha Bay and HaLong Bay. The tickets are included in the tour price.

We will discover the lagoon natural area belonging to Lan Ha bay by kayaking through Dark and Bright Caves, tunnels, and archways. This is the most beautiful lagoon in Lan Ha Bay for kayaking activities and also the conservation area. If you are lucky you will see Cat Ba langurs (Golden-headed monkey)

The boat drops anchor at the border of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long bay for lunch. The lunch is freshly cooked and served in Vietnamese style by the local crews on board (vegetarian dishes for a choice). Enjoy lunch while cruising through magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay. Afterwards, the boat continues to sail off Southern Ha Long bay. Swimming and jumping from the boat at Ba Trai Dao Beach which is very natural, remote, quiet and less-touristy. We can discover the temple beach, more lagoons and arches. After swimming, we will visit a local fish farm where you will see how local fishermen live on the water and how they farm the fish. In the meantime, join us for a cooking class – an exciting activity to experience some of Vietnam's most enticing traditional dishes.Our boat will be cruising back to the pier. Enjoy the magical sunset with local drinks as the boat comes back to the harbor.
