Stop along the way to visit the Muong tribe and then at Thung Khe Pass for a spectacular view of Mai Chau Valley especially you will feel interested when visiting the temporary local market where selling products of the Muong ethnic people at the top of the pass. Thung Khe Pass is beautiful, but also very dangerous due to steep cliffs, rocks on the slopes and the many curves. It is also called White Rock Pass, because limestone slid down when the mountain pass was constructed, so that one part of the mountain pass is now completely white.
Arrive at Mai Chau and have lunch (vegetarian available) at local homestay. Mai Chau is a mountainous area of outstanding natural beauty, inhabited by a Thai and H’mong ethnic minority groups. After lunch, guests will do bicycle ride with your tour guide, see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and visit surrounding peaceful villages. Then free time for cycling, walking, shopping around local area.You will have a chance to enjoy traditional dishes prepared in the style of the native Thai for dinner meal and watch the Thai’s traditional Dance show and drink traditional wine “ruou can”. (only applied for group more than 5 peoples)
07:30: Breakfast time at Mai Chau Valley. 08:30: Start driving 35km from Mai Chau to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, we will stop on the way to see chopsticks factories and take photos sometimes. 12:00 Arrive to Pu Luong Nature reserve, we will take a short break for 10 minutes before starting to do trekking and explore the beautiful scenery of the mountains and stunning rice terraces. 13:00 Enjoy Lunch in the village and rest before we restart trekking then drive back to Mai Chau.
Guests say good bye Pu Luong for back to Mai Chau. Then get on bus/van back to Hanoi City. After 4 hours driving by pass Mai Chau again , we will arrive at Hanoi and drop off guests at hotel in Old Quarter between 18h45 PM to 19h15 PM. Tour ends.
