Your Pu Luong adventure begins with a convenient hotel pickup between 6:45 and 7:00 AM from Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive to Pu Luong Nature Reserve, where you will arrive in time for lunch and check-in. After settling in, take some free time to relax and soak in the peaceful mountain surroundings before the day’s activities begin.
In the afternoon, embark on a scenic trek to Kho Muong Village and Bat Cave, beginning along a quiet alley near traditional Thai stilt houses. The trail opens up to breathtaking viewpoints of endless rice terraces, offering perfect photo opportunities. From the hilltop, enjoy panoramic views of Kho Muong Village and appreciate the unique charm of this peaceful mountain community. Continue on to the entrance of Bat Cave, with the option to explore its fascinating interior depending on weather conditions, making for an unforgettable Pu Luong trekking experience.
Start the day with breakfast at 7:30 AM, then drive to the trek’s starting point, stopping at Pho Doan Market on Thursdays and Sundays. Trek through a quiet path, jungle, and hamlets to Hieu Village for stunning views, descend to the waterfall for swimming or water hiking, and enjoy a “Garden to Table” lunch at a local ethnic minority homestay.
In the afternoon, take a short drive to the starting point of your trek, crossing a hanging bridge over the Cham River and passing through Ba Village with its traditional stilt houses.
