Night 1 : Train departs at 10:00 pm. You will sleep on train to Lao Cai. Travel time approximate 8 hours.
Arrive at Lao Cai Train Station 06:30am, be greeted by our tour guide and driver upon arrival at Lao Cai train station, before being transferred to Sapa village, by a shared tourist bus. The bus ride uphill to Sapa takes a little over an hour, and will give you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces as you make this short trip.
Once arriving in the hotel in Sapa, an early check in follows if room is available, otherwise in the interim, you will have access to a basic room for your refreshment, before enjoying breakfast prior to going on the morning tour.
09.30 Start your tour with 6km of walking down to the South East of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village, home of the Black H’mong people.
Then continue with a 3km-trek down to Lao Chai village. Here we will stop for a simple lunch before exploring the village.
After lunch, continue trekking through terraced rice fields to Ta Van, village of the Dzay minority people. This trek is relatively easy, though the trail can be quite slippery if it rains, so good footwear is recommended. • Trekking level: 6/10 • Accommodation: Home-stay in Ta Van Village. • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Breakfast will be serving at the homestay at about 8Am Start trekking at 9:30 Am 8 km walking to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the bus ride return to Sapa.
